Program Aide Training

NEW!

Assist at programs in a new way this year! We’re changing the focus from our local “Count On Us” program to the GSUSA Program Aide leadership opportunities. Girls who have completed the 6th grade can attend the Program Aide Training and register to assist at council-sponsored programs. Check the dates and descriptions below for training opportunities.

Choose from Core Program Aide training and a variety of Program Aide Specialization Trainings that interest you! Once you’ve completed the training(s), record at least 25 hours of service on the Teen Training Card and present it at Juliette’s Treasures to earn the Program Aide patch.

To register as a Program Aide for upcoing program, use the troop/Group or individual program registration form to register. Put PA next to the program title. Program aides are admitted to program at NO charge. Please refer to program registration open and close dates for PA registration.

Core Program Aide (PA) Training

Core PA Training teaches girls to use their skills to assist at programs and events for younger Girl Scouts. Register for one of the Core PA Training dates OR reserve a Core PA Training Kit through the West Region Service Center. The Core PA Training Kit is designed for advisors or leaders to check out and complete with a troop/group of girls and includes easy-to-follow Core Program Aide Packets and supplies needed for the training. The Core PA training is completed in approximately 4 hours; girls receive their PA pin upon completion of the training.

PA Training Dates

Stay for the whole day or come just for the trainings that interest you! Bring your own lunch, beverage and any program supplies listed on your confirmation. Use the Council-Sponsored Program Registration Form to register. Two dates to choose from!
