Why We Sell Cookies

Girls and troops will see a direct benefit in the following ways:

· Troop profit of 60¢ to 72¢ per box sold (based on the troop per registered girl average quantity of boxes sold)

· Troops at the Cadette level or older that decide as an entire troop to forgo recognitions are eligible for an additional money per box sold

· GSNEO offers a very generous cookie recognition program

· Providing hundreds of program resources and activities

· Sponsoring special events and projects

· Recruiting and Free Training for all Volunteers

· Underwriting events and camp to keep prices low for all members

· Improving and maintaining camps and other properties

· Providing financial assistance needed to make Girl Scouting available to ALL girls across 18 counties

100% of all revenue after paying the baker and other sale related expenses stays local!
We are not just selling cookies…we are providing programming for girls. Through the experience gained from participation in Girl Scout product sales, a girl can achieve knowledge and skills in the areas of responsibility, goal setting, teamwork and partnership, marketing and business skills, self-confidence, decision making, along with time and money management – all important life skills.
