Interest Free Loan Program

Interest free loans are available from Girl Scouts of North East Ohio to allow troops/groups to participate in activities and events when additional time for troop/group money-earning is needed to meet the full costs.

Applications must be completed, including all necessary signatures (Service Unit Director, Staff Member) and turned into the Council Service Center at least 6 weeks prior to the event. Incomplete applications will be returned unapproved.

Loan repayment is generally due when troops receive Fall Product profits, Cookie sale profits or 2 weeks after the event, with the due date determined by GSES. Once the application is approved, a confirmation letter will be sent to the Troop/Group Leader. Troops/Groups with past-due loan balances will not be permitted to register for council sponsored programs, events or camp without prior approval from GSES.
